Editorial Design Conference Munich
As a result of the immense range of concurrent trends and developments, today’s magazine and newspaper landscape has become rather confusing. This conference will define landmarks as guidelines for groundbreaking editorial design projects – with regards to concept, design, content, photography and typography. Speakers from diverse backgrounds, but all sharing love either to journalism or editorial, or even both, will talk about successful projects as well as failures and they will introduce inspiring works of other colleagues. At the crossroads of multi-media design, they bring together the every-day life reality of designers: image and script, apps and print, passion and pleasure. With the conference, an exhibition will take place by people of letters, painters, sculptors and illustrators, having established dialogues with publications. Creative, as well as artistically, culturally and historically fascinating – few recent styles would have been imaginable without matching works to serve as both mouthpiece and visual statement. The results are covers, pages and entire magazines bundled for the first time into a cross-style exhibition. The conference will take place in Munich from 28 February until 02 March.
